We spent a week on the Luna side from Feb 3 to March 2, 2009. We had great weather and a fantastic time. The food was good and the people even better. There was so much to do with the activities team we were never bored and the nightly entertainment was awesome. The grounds had had alot of work done to them since the hurricane last fall and they were beautiful. The service was fantastic and it was so easy to make friends with the locals that worked there it made it feel like home. We loved our time at the resort and definitely plan to return there soon.

We were at the Mares side for one week starting March 27 2008. The weather was warm and the beach excellent. Always lots to eat and remember you are not home so the sausage will be different. Our room was always made as soon as we left for breakfast. We were amazed to see a swan on our bed made from our comforter wearing my girl friends hat when we returned one morning. The rooms are in good repair everthing in working order. The buffets were good and the alacarts seemed to be better on average than our last 2 visits. Even though on some occassions the bars seemed understaffed everyone is served with a smile. As I said this was our 3rd but not last visit. The Luna Mares has something that draws people back. Every person I spoke to plans to return as well. And the number one reason I hear is because of the Yuniors, Ivans, Francos, Vladimirs, Jose Antonios, Toneys,Williams etc who consistently go out of their way to treat us to the Cuban hospitality that Canadians are so privledged to enjoy. A job well done by all the staff.

Louise Roy Alexandria, Ont Canada
